Do you celebrate Passover or Easter? In a previous post of mine, I discussed what the Bible says about Passover, as well as shed light into the truth about Easter, here. To summarize, Passover is a Biblical tradition. It first started when God freed the people of Israel from the Egyptians, in Exodus. Nowadays, it is commonly a Jewish tradition, but can still be celebrated by Christians because Jesus celebrated Passover before He was crucified, buried and resurrected.

The religious festival of Passover is a seven day celebration that begins on the 14th of Nisan which is in March or April at sunset. The Feast of Unleavened Bread is included in the Passover festival, as well as the Seder meal. During this time, people who celebrate Passover will rejoice over the Israelites being delivered from the hands of Pharaoh. Now, Passover can be celebrated to commemorate the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. The blood of the Passover lamb was a representation for the coming of and sacrifice of Jesus.

Jesus Christ is the Passover lamb Exodus , 1 Corinthians Passover and Easter are not the same. Easter is a pagan tradition, whereas Passover has Biblical roots. Even though both fall around the same time, Christians should not be engaging in or celebrating Easter. Instead, we should look into celebrating, or at the very least, acknowledging Passover.

- Numbers 9 NKJV;JLB;NIV - The Second Passover - Now the Lord - Bible Gateway

The ONLY Man Whose SPIRIT we invite into our life and home, is JESUS CHRIST THE SON OF GOD. He ALONE was dead, but is ALIVE forever! In celebrating The Feasts of THE LORD, we must only do what THE HOLY SPIRIT says according to The Word of GOD, and not unBiblical and unGODly traditions.

Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in The Faith, not giving heed to Jewish fables and commandments of men who turn from The Truth. Our LORD JESUS CHRIST celebrated The Passover and established The New Covenant in His BLOOD for us at Passover — the first day of Unleavened Bread, Matthew By His BLOOD at Passover, THE SON OF GOD ransomed us from the power of the grave.

Through His Death, JESUS CHRIST redeemed us from death, eternal death, Hosea Ephesians GOD released The Blessing of Abraham upon us at Passover when CHRIST, our Passover LAMB, was sacrificed for us, Galatians You see, there are three Feasts of THE LORD chain-linked and celebrated at this time: Passover , Unleavened Bread and Firstfruits — all fulfilled by our LORD JESUS CHRIST in The Shedding of His PRECIOUS BLOOD on THE CROSS, The Offering of His Body, and His GLORIOUS Resurrection.

Now also, MUCH MORE, The Ultimate Passover, CHRIST our Passover faith in and application of His PRECIOUS BLOOD, eating Passover and taking of The Communion and singing praises to Him saves us from eternal death, sickness, other problems and untimely death, Isaiah ; 1 Peter ; James Furthermore, during Passover, GOD releases wealth and adornment and MIGHTY POWER to His people who obey Him and ask.

And THE LORD had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they granted them what they requested. Thus they plundered the Egyptians.

GOD still does this today. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. If you seek THE LORD, if you wait on THE LORD during Passover, He WILL grant you blessings, favour and power beyond your expectation. Let us keep The Passover and REJOICE exceedingly for THE CROSS of CHRIST.

Let us REJOICE exceedingly in THE CROSS of CHRIST. Our HOPE is ONLY in THE CROSS. Our BOAST is in THE CROSS! Oh, Hallelu-YAH! Glory to GOD! This is for His Own Plans and Purposes of holiness and the final harvest.

Jacob , an apostle of JESUS CHRIST by The Will of GOD, according to The Promise of Life Which is in CHRIST JESUS, 2 Timothy Like John, I like to put my head to The Heart of JESUS so as to know and do His Will always.

MAY THE POWER OF THE CROSS HELP CONFORM US TO THE WILL OF GOD AND PERFECT US IN HIS HOLINESS! Praise God Almighty in the Highest! Months later, as Israel camped before Mount Sinai, God instituted a new covenant with them that was an extension and fulfillment of promises made under the Abrahamic covenant.

The Sinai covenant eventually involved a formalized priesthood and tabernacle, which necessitated some changes in the Passover administration as recorded in Deuteronomy Deuteronomy [1] Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover to the LORD your God: for in the month of Abib the LORD your God brought you forth out of Egypt by night. The Torah also emphasizes that events of Abib 14, specifically the killing of the Passover, are distinct from events of Abib 15 Leviticus Leviticus [4] These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which you shall proclaim in their seasons.

Biblical scholars debate on whether the "Last Supper" was a traditional seder. The Gospels contain very specific language signifying that these events were in fact, if not a seder, a Passover meal. Notice Luke's account in Luke Luke [7] Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed. Jesus' instructions are on the 13th because the next day was the 14th.

Since biblical days begin at sunset, the meal and ceremonies that night would be after sundown and occur on the 14th. The administrative elements of the Passover were to take on a new meaning because a new covenant was being established. It is important to notice the profound administrative differences in the Exodus, Deuteronomy and New Covenant Passovers. The Exodus Passover entailed a slaying of a lamb on the 14th of Abib so that the LORD would pass over the Israelites.

The Deuteronomy Passover entailed sacrificing lambs as a memorial of the Exodus Passover. In Israel's history it was also seen as a means of sanctification. Hezekiah's Passover included sprinkling the lamb's blood on those present 2 Chronicles 2 Chronicles [15] Then they killed the passover on the fourteenth day of the second month: and the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought in the burnt offerings into the house of the LORD.

The New Covenant Passover entails the reality of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ as the Lamb of God 1 Corinthians 1 Corinthians Purge out therefore the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, as you are unleavened. The Exodus and Deuteronomy Passovers entailed eating a meal including a lamb.

The New Covenant Passover entails eating bread and drinking wine as symbols of Christ as the Lamb of God. With the reality of Christ fulfilling the Passover sacrifice, it was necessary to change the symbols of the Passover service. It was no longer essential to sacrifice a lamb as a type of a future event. On the night before He died, Jesus instituted bread and wine as symbols of His body and blood.

Neither the Exodus nor Deuteronomy Passovers contain any instructions about drinking wine. The Jewish seder contains wine, but the seder is a Jewish tradition, not a scriptural injunction. Notice Paul's instructions to the Corinthians in 1 Corinthians 1 Corinthians [17] Now in this that I declare to you I praise you not, that you come together not for the better, but for the worse.

have you not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise you the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not. The Exodus Passover involved the painting of the lamb's blood on the doorposts.

The Deuteronomy Passover involved the sacrificial blood of a lamb. The New Covenant Passover involves its participants being "washed" in the blood of Christ Revelation Revelation [4] John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be to you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; [5] And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth.

To him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, [6] And has made us kings and priests to God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever.

The Exodus and Deuteronomy Passovers contain no instructions for foot-washing. The New Covenant Passover contains instructions for foot-washing John John [1] Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them to the end.

Jesus answered him, If I wash you not, you have no part with me. The Exodus and Deuteronomy Passovers entailed sacrificing lambs as a memorial of the Egyptian deliverance. The New Covenant Passover is a memorial to Christ's deliverance of Christians from the slavery of sin Romans 6.

Стратмор засмеялся. Выходила только абракадабра. Это был не первый его звонок, по крайней мере своевременно. Он стоял у края тротуара, но в голосе звонившего слышалась подозрительная решимость. Он должен настичь Дэвида Беккера.
